I came across this post through one of my students via facebook. I really enjoy the thought and depth that these ‘brick builders’ use to create these PHENONMENAL sculptures. I’m only on page two of this site, and my mind is already swimming with questions like “how the heck do you get involved in this??” and “how the heck do you even begin to think about building one of these??”.

Herbs your daddy?
In Unnecessary Thoughts on April 8, 2009 at 20:57What a wonderful play on words! It took me all day to think up that one. Well, as it turns out, I’m the proud poppa of about 15 new stalks of herbs that I am growing in my tiny little swlf-watering greenhouse, and boy am I ever proud indeed! And I’m going to name them all … Herbert. This could get confusing…
To all the other ‘me’s in the world…
In Unnecessary Thoughts on April 6, 2009 at 08:59We all do it. I do it. You do it. Heck, if monkeys knew how to do it, they would too… that’s right. We all search for our name on Google to see what comes up. I’m pretty fortunate: my name is moderately unique. Unlike John Smith or Jane Doe, my last name is fairly uncommon (at least in Canada) and my first and last name together all the more so. That said, there are other ‘me’s out there. I once called a Ben McEvoy in Ireland when I was younger and less reserved in fact. (I hung up right away, mind you – concerns of an matter/anti-matter nature …) That being said, I have from time to time been keeping close tabs on my other ‘me’ brethren in the world, and I’ve noticed something very PECULIAR.
